Gave him a fair chance. Pixelation is a violation of the Terms of Service.

I regret buying this monitor for several reasons. Basically, I let myself be carried away by the size "29 inch ultra-wide". First, the height is NOT adjustable and the monitor sits pretty low. Now I need to order a mount to use as an adapter for a feature I think should be built in. I did not expect such additional costs. Second, I'm not a gamer, I make my living as a graphic designer. I thought this would provide accurate pixelation, but surprisingly, when I move my graphics from my Macbook Pro's Retina screen to this LG, the quality drops significantly. The inaccurate display of graphics disturbs my work as images appear pixelated when they are not. So I guess my solution is to design on LG and then transfer the Adobe program windows back to the Macbook to check the quality? Pretty boring. I really expected a lot more. I've seen someone mention that their text looks "fuzzy" on this monitor and they're absolutely right. I would like to add that this degradation applies not only to text but also to graphics. Perhaps gamers don't notice the lack of crisp graphics because they are focused on completing missions and usually moving/fast graphics are more forgiving in terms of pixelation. Also, I bought this for $225 and then of course it was cheaper about 4 weeks after that. lol. Everyone is just disappointed. My work monitor gives a much better picture: Dell U2718Q. I bought it for a second job.

Pros
  • Its anti-reflective coating prevents eyestrain.
Cons
  • Limited Connectivity
