works properly. I have a Dyson DC44 and an i-Clean pet brush (no brand, not *Dyson pet brush) and use it with an i-Clean extension hose (again, not a Dyson hose). The iclean extension hose and iclean pet brush work well with my DC44. No other adapters or extensions were required. This confused me before I ordered these two pieces and tried them on myself. hope this helps others. You can even comb your dog/pet with other brushes (no matter what grooming products you have) to really loosen the dirt and then just suck up the loose hair. There is no need to use the pet brush bristles. The lack of metal bristles on the pet brush works better with my short haired dog.
