I bought these mainly because they are flexible and I wanted a right angle connection so I wouldn't keep banging my phone on the connector. while driving and using Android Auto. The second reason is that we have different types of phones and tablets at home and I've always swapped cables depending on what needs to be charged. Imagine my surprise when there is NO CONNECTION to the machine. To be honest, I didn't even imagine there were CHARGING ONLY cables. A big disappointment which also makes the second reason I bought it unfortunate as I had to remove the magnetic tip every time I got in the car.
