Review on πŸ›οΈ Premium GhostBed Queen Cooling Supima Cotton and Tencel Sheet Set - Wrinkle Resistant, Deep Pockets, 4 Piece, Gray: Ultimate Luxury for your Bed by Jody Yarrish

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The top sheet and pillowcases are too small for a twin bed!

First of all I received these sheets second hand from the Revain warehouse. So I got a hefty discount! These are good sheets, but they do have a few imperfections and if I paid the full price of $230 I would probably return them. First, the sheets are very nice and silky as advertised, but they are also very thin. I'm a tencel lover so I was very excited to try tencel sheets! Maybe it's just me, but I always think that a quality bed sheet carries a significant amount of weight, regardless of the material. Second, the pillowcases are too short for a medium king size pillow. The pillow protrudes beyond the body. Most annoying, however, is the width of the cover sheet. What most manufacturers STILL don't realize is that a twin king bed is actually a few inches wider than a standard king bed, as the king bed is 76 inches and two twin XL beds together are 78 inches . Then if you have one of those stupid 13-15 inch deep mattresses that are currently as popular as mine, you suddenly have a top sheet that doesn't even cover the edge of the mattress. I mean, folks, this is simple math, not rocket science! The Ghost bed isn't a bad sheet, but these factors are a definite hurdle for me. The big advantage they have is the very wide and secure elastic that wraps around the fitted sheet. These are the best I've ever seen, even better than my wamsutta sheets, which for a long time were the only sheets I liked (but they're very expensive). If Ghostbed was the right size I would buy these sheets again. Note Note! Maybe I would be happier if they were colored rather than pure white as that will likely make them thinner. Oh yeah, and they also have a set of four pillowcases, which is another redeeming factor because I don't know a single soul that doesn't have at least two pillowcases on each side of the bed.
