Great for the basement door in our RV
In mid 2021 my wife and I needed a replacement gas spring for the generator door in our RV. It replaced the Atwood SL-15-40 that had been in service since 2001. While I'd be amazed if it lasts 20 years like the original, will it still be worth it if it lasts 5 years. Only time will tell and this review will be updated as necessary. FYI it came with a ball end which we don't need.
