Sturdy, well-designed black panels plus
Lee's makes some of the best eel filters - black panels are especially great if you have cichlids or others who enjoy shoveling, digging or moving gravel. The only thing I don't like about Lee's Ug filters are their elbows - there's something about the construction that creates an annoying gurgling noise - I usually use Penn Plax elbows which fit the top of Lee's Airlifts. .
