Review on πŸ’¨ Westpointe Electrical Co WP 4" Hi Velocity Fan 1002: Powerful Personal Cooling Solution by Danielle Hartman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It cools well, but rattles a little for the first 20 seconds and then calms down.

I bought this fan a few years ago and am always happy to have it when I need a powerful compact fan. You can adjust the fan's incline which is very handy for me was the blade not adjusted quite right I unscrewed and then screwed the cover and blade back on (Phillips head) and the blade is straighter now but still not quite level as can be seen by looking at the blade from above when it is on I think that's why it rumbled. It's not a very loud rumble but I found it annoying. It still rattles a bit when I first turn it on but now the rattling noise stops after about 15 seconds. Overall I'm quite happy given the price This little fan cools me very well, runs silently after a few seconds of operation, and stays in any position you tilt your head in. You say n the smaller the fan the louder it seems to be so I have to say that after initial warm up it is quiet especially when you consider the speed, power and amount of air it moves it has a very large motor for a fan that size. I'd say the wired fan probably weighs 2 pounds, so I'm not sure if it's ideal for air travel. The fan can move backwards across my desk when the blades are pushing out that much air, but it's very gradual. Like a millimeter per minute. I stopped it by leaning it against something heavy. There are other options you can try, like installing it on one of those sticky smartphone mats that you can put on your car dashboard.
