Well, I waited to write this review until I'd washed NUMEROUS loads of laundry, so I've washed every type of laundry possible. From hand washing to very dirty hard work. I have a husband who works outside every day and gets very dirty. I have teenagers too. I'm an artist and I make different kinds of art. No load was too small, too big or too dirty for these washing machine balls! I only have 2 and I use that with every wash. I had to buy detergent every week or two. I had a pack of just in case pouches, but I didn't need them. I washed 1-3 loads of laundry every day!
