Review on Dell P2217H Professional LED Monitor - 21.5" Screen, Anti-Glare, 60Hz Refresh Rate by Mike Duncan

I bought this monitor because of its main advantage: the adjustable stand. The monitor was beautiful, with an excellent matte screen, good clarity and brightness. Unfortunately, once connected to any device, be it via VGA or HDMI input, it will show video but the front white LED on the power button will start blinking/flashing. You can try changing the monitor settings so that the LED does not light up during operation, but still flashes. I've tried connecting this monitor to a Thunderbolt dock, my Macbook Pro's HDMI output, and even a dashcam's VGA and HDMI output, all with the same results. Dell support was no help when they discovered that I had purchased the monitor through Revain the only solution they offered was to contact Revain and return the monitor. I would like to keep this monitor, but the constant blinking of the LED while in use is a problem. But having not even worked full time, I had to request the return of this device with no possibility of an exchange. At least the process was painless. I hesitate to buy this monitor again for fear of the same problem.
