Review on 🧹 Tesvor M1&S6&X500 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Water Tank: Enhancing Mopping Performance by Danielle Lopez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Who knows?: Hoover

We bought this on a whim - decided to risk it for $30. We have a Tesvor vacuum cleaner (nicknamed Tessie the Teslabot, why not?) I hate mopping almost as much as my wife, so we got the silly robot in the first place. So why not add a mop to the fun? I wasn't too hopeful after reading about graffiti and the like. We have cheap travertine tiles that seem to turn every drop of moisture into a dirty stain. First we started the vacuum cleaner - it uses about 40% of the charge before returning to the charging station. I leave it charging for about an hour just in case. I filled the mop bucket with some type of no-rinse floor cleaner, diluted it to the level of a 'dirty floor' solution, lifted the mats, blocked the doors, and made him vomit. What a pleasant surprise! He recognized the tank and announced "wipe mode" and then, as we all know so well, began pacing up and down the house (he probably piloted it on floors about 800 square feet). Then I cleaned the edge twice. There is a small dust bin next to the water tank and the sweepers still picked up dust balls in mopping mode. The wife was very happy with the result (especially since she didn't even have to fiddle with filling the tank!). The mopping pad was nice and dirty, the floor was nice and clean. It spread the solution quite well behind the robot as it moved, leaving no streaks at all. I'm sure if I just let the squeegee tank run without going into vacuum mode first, I would have gotten some dirt spots, but that seemed like an obvious first step. I'll give him the lazy man's seal of approval!
