Review on LG 38WQ88C W Inch Curved UltraWide Monitor: Immersive 3840X1600 Display with On Screen Control and Dynamic Action Sync by Steven Webb

Ideal for working from home

I've been using this monitor for a few months now and I have to say I love it. Actually I'm writing this review when I'm looking for another one for a friend. Coming from a person who had multiple monitors at work and used them every day for years; When I had to work remotely, going back to a single screen was a painful setup until I bought this monitor. I no longer have the option of having 2 or more monitors at home like I used to, but this monitor fits. I also wanted a monitor that only needed one cable for power and display (USB-C), which it provides. My only negative feedback is the volume. I have a MacBook Pro and the volume slider on the MacBook does not control the volume of the audio output going to the monitor. This is clearly pure laziness, but I won't blame them. You need to use the volume button on the monitor or connect Bluetooth. Yes, the monitor supports Bluetooth audio. The only problem is that it's confusing at times with the USB-C input intercepting audio when playing via Bluetooth. Not worth the energy.
