This robot mopping and vacuuming robot has replaced my 4 year old Deebot that stopped working for good last month. This Viomi robot is a huge upgrade over my old one. It has so many new features and improvements that my old robot struggled with. Features that stand out to me the most: 1) Climbing Ability: I have a hardwood floor throughout the house, but my fireplace stove is stone and is about 3/4 inch higher than my floor, so my old robot had a lot of trouble. with him (he always got half stuck trying to climb onto the stove to clean it). This new robot easily climbs on or off. So it climbs easily on my dining room carpets. as well as in the living room. 2) Very low noise level: This Viomi robot is half as quiet as my old one, even when watching TV and operating the robot, it hardly disturbs the TV sound. 3) Alexa is on: It's good to just tell him when to start or stop cleaning, no need to keep the remote close by 4) Wash with water: It's nice to have this option, as where we live it's always dry so it's pretty much dusty. I use this water mopping feature every few days to keep my floor clean and shiny and probably only need to deep clean the floor every few months. 5) The virtual map in the app is great, it allows me to create a restricted area that I don't want the robot to enter my son's room, like the bathroom (as he has toys everywhere and my old robot used to be ate some of his toys), etc. In general, this isn't a very cheap robot, but it's not too expensive either. I think it's very affordable considering all the features it offers. It works very well so far and is worth every penny.
