This was my first experience with polygel and my own nails. They came out pretty good for my first time. Everything was pretty easy to use. The only thing I had to do extra was cure my nails 2-3 times to make sure they were fully cured. I think it's worth adding modeling strips to the kit as double molds aren't for everyone. I had to file the shapes to fully cover the entire nail. BUT I think they still came out well. The poly gel paint I used seemed cheap but worked well. I really liked it and was excited to use it. Update So, my first set only lasted a day. The process requires more than the instructions say. The first color I used was #3 I think and the duplicated shape didn't suit my molds. So I had to order sculptural strips. Now I watch YouTube videos on how to use these kits. It's good that I did because I would be like so many others who bought this product and left a bad review. It's a good product if you know how to use it and have tips on how to make it last longer. My second set came out much better, the only thing I didn't get right was the glitter and polygel, I made a mistake and 2 fingers I did with gold came off so I had to do the whole set lose weight just because it's me. But if I just fixed them they would last me 4 or 5 days. In the third set I prepped my nails a lot better and watched YouTube videos to make sure I was doing the ombre well. They came out so beautiful and lasted much longer, I mean almost 2 weeks. Therefore, proper nail preparation will ensure your nails last longer. In general the product is good. I love color #7 and pure pink. This product is good for beginners.
