love this shop. I would like to give 6 stars!

Summary: I really like this device. It's easy to use, plug and play. Low power consumption at the receiver. Simply a pleasure every day. I use this in my playroom. I have an old Epson projector mounted upside down on the ceiling. It's quite large, which helps in one way. I connected this projector to my laptop using a 35ft HDMI cable. While it worked, it was very bulky and the weight of the cable put a lot of strain on my laptop's HDMI port. This device consists of 2 main parts. Transmitter that connects to any laptop or PC with a standard HDMI output and 1 USB (possibly older than 1.0). The next part is a receiver with an HDMI output that you plug into a projector (or an old TV if you want to stream to it). Setup: Very easy, just plug and play. I have a receiver hooked up to my projector and because it's so huge it's basically a separate shelf for the receiver. My projector has a USB 1.0 port for firmware updates. This is enough to power the receiver. The transmitter is a puck with a wired HDMI connector. You plug it into a USB port on your laptop/desktop. When turned on, the projector displays a screen with instructions on how to connect. Even with proper connection, it can take a minute to three minutes for a signal to appear Pros and Cons Pros: + Small common housing for transmitter and receiver + Low power consumption, no more than 5V required at both ends. + Light unit that can be mounted on the projector for inverted installation + Beautiful resolution without loss of clarity compared to the standard 1080p signal via HDMI cable. Cons: - Washing machine gets VERY HOT. I put it on some hexagonal cubes to give it some air because it felt very hot on the table. - Significant delay. If you're watching a movie on both the source and the projector, you'll see a delay of at least 1/2 second between what's being transmitted and what lands on the big screen. No problem as long as you can sync audio. I happened to stream the audio over a wireless network and the lag there was the same, so watching a movie was at the top. Overall, this is a wonderful device that has brought my projector up to 21st century standards. Well done, hope it lasts for years!
