We have a small business and we print our marketing materials on our HP printer. OEM replacement cartridges are approximately $400 at our nearest national office supply store. To save money, we decided to try these cartridges for just under $60. The print quality is excellent. To be fair, the OEM cartridges ran out of toner before we replaced them, so we couldn't print the same images for a direct comparison. However, we did a few test prints using standard cheap laser paper and these cartridges and prints seem to us to be just as good as the original OEM cartridges. We ran into this too, but it didn't seem to affect printing. The only downside we've seen so far - and we've reached out to Valuetoner to ask if we've overlooked it - is that there doesn't seem to be a way to recycle these cartridges. Toner cartridges are huge pieces of plastic with metal and other elements in them, and we'd like to know that we're not just throwing them in our local landfill. .
