It looks like the hose was stored too long and probably in a warm place. Two parts of it were deformed. So when we moved the extension / Handle down it didn't go smooth.It was tight due to two deformed spots.Let's see if it straightens out over time.The hose itself looked identical to the original.The material seems to be about the same caliber..wide removed from what we have Oh and there are no holes or open areas to reduce suction so it looks like we're ready to go :) Well I've tried. I had to return the first one because the attachments weren't locked. It's also a bit short, but I assumed it was because of the two curved sections. I sent it back and got a replacement the next day. It was only deformed in one place and was shortened by 1/2 to 1 inch. Again maybe due to deformation. Again, the nozzles will not stay. I still have the original OEM hose and the jets snap into place with no problem. more for OEM cost Revain Dyson sells things for a few bucks less :) Photos and video of the replacement tube I will add it as soon as I can download the video.
