Sizing is not entirely childish but will fit children and adults
I actually thought they were a lot smaller based on the 'baby' label used by the manufacturer. wrapped hair ties. They are smaller than regular hair ties, maybe 1/3 their size. But adults can certainly use them. (The turquoise object the group is sitting on in one of my photos is a little sticky note for size reference.) I'd say they are geared more towards children or for braiding hair, but definitely NOT for babies. They have decent stretch and worked well.
