I once had a jewelry organizer from Umbra that looked a lot like this one before I foolishly traded it with a roommate for her organizers. I missed my Umbra so much that I decided to replace it and while hunting I found a cheaper one. Having no comparison, I have to say that the Umbra felt much stronger. It lasted a few puffs, I've always hung a lot of jewelry on it, and it's never broken. Unfortunately, this one arrived with a tear in one of the earring pockets. That it ripped on arrival says little about its longevity. I'm still considering trying to return it, but I had already sewn the organizer to the hanger before noticing a tear, as other reviewers complained about it slipping off the hanger. Also, some of the hinges were twisted instead of lying flat, while all of the Umbra hinges lay perfectly flat. The earring compartments are torn.
