Safe and Quiet Cradles

Before purchasing this cradle I used a cradle that worked fine but rattled like a maraca when there was nothing in it which really annoyed me. Unfortunately nobody seems to verify that these things are quiet, so it was difficult to buy replacements. Well I can definitely say that this thing is quiet and feels pretty solid. When the phone vibrates, it actually vibrates with the windshield, car, etc. Another complaint about my old stand was that it had a long, flexible arm (which can be bent into any position), causing it to shake. It wasn't stable with a phone in it. I took the picture with this tote because it didn't have that flexible arm, it had a rigid, adjustable arm that was shorter. This change greatly affected the stability of my phone in the stand. The grip mechanism is actually quite nice and I like that it comes with extended lugs. I used extended tabs at the bottom and placed a tab at the top because my phone has a button at the top right and the audio port is at the top left. The extra solo tab load might be bad for that, but it comes with 4 of those smaller tabs so I can easily swap it out with any of the 3 extra tabs I have. Holding my phone is quite firm and I have no problem placing the phone in the holder. Anyway, I'm not afraid that he'll slip. In addition, all ports and buttons are easily accessible thanks to the customizability. I don't usually plug anything into the charging station because I have Bluetooth audio in my car, but it's pretty nice to have all the options available and be able to charge when needed. In short, it seems that it is too short. I need to see if I can find an attachment point and a position where I don't have to reach for the phone as heavily. It took a bit of effort to tighten everything so it doesn't move when the phone is inserted. , but it's definitely possible. Phone HTC Droid Incredible 2.
