First I bought a new blanket to prepare the house for sale. I chose this one because it meets the requirements of modern and blue and I really liked the image. I just love the way it looks on my bed. It's a shade of blue between French blue and periwinkle, and the floral screenprint underneath really stands out. The included overlays fit perfectly and make everything stand out. I would recommend purchasing additional decorative pillows at the same time as your purchase. Two things: some people noticed the fabric was wrinkled while others suggested washing and drying it. I tossed mine in the pleated dryer for about 10 minutes and the cotton started to melt. Run the entire wash cycle and put it in a (commercial) dryer with tennis balls in it to prevent this from happening. This is a solid mine. Secondly, it is a comfortably warm blanket. Not for the summer in the south.
