for Christmas. This is way better than the GoPro I got my husband 4-5 years ago. The battery is amazing. I charge it up and after a few weeks it still has a substantial charge. There are many videos on how to use it on YouTube. That's good because the information it contains is minimal, but who reads it anyway? The pictures are great. The sound is pretty good. It's easy enough to learn to get good videos. Odd little things: when I pause a video, it sometimes goes into burst mode. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this happens by default because it happens after waiting a few minutes for the video to start. My husband is a big DJI drone pilot. He has used it several times and was impressed too. A few times the colors in the video were burned out or too dark. He could fix it, but it took time. I wish it would do this automatically because sometimes you're waiting for the right video moment and you need the little guy to come forward because the event you're filming isn't always reproducible. It's very safe. I took some underwater photos and videos. He seems to be fine underwater. I haven't been able to dive with it yet, but plan to. Definitely worth the price and better than the GoPro especially in terms of battery life.
