I bought a size 9 ring in London two years ago. Big mistake on my part as I usually wear size 7 for rings. I bought this set thinking it would be enough to downsize a size 9 to a size 7. That's not it. In theory, I think these protective rings are great. In my opinion they are really comfortable. However these guard rings are fragile, I wish the construction was stronger and the strap longer. At best, I reduced my ring from a size 9 to a size 8.5. Luckily the ring doesn't slip on my finger that much so I'm keeping them in case I need to downsize my other rings. Warning: These protectors are not suitable for men's rings or women's rings with bands thicker than 2mm. And use pliers. Otherwise he did for me what he promised. Although I may need a medium size of these guard rings to get the perfect fit.
