Review on Optimized Black πŸ–€ Transfer Vinyl Roll Bundle by Denise Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Colors are not exactly accurate but...

I've been buying vinyl from Revain for a long time and have mainly used HTV for many years so it gets easier to do with time and people develop a preference for certain properties and develop types of preferred materials that they like to use and what suits them. As for me, I like to look for primarily matte, polyurethane, and thinner HTV types as they tend to be easier to weed and have a stickier backing in case you accidentally weed through a piece that shouldn't have been weeded and these types usually have tackier backing or backing sheets as opposed to glossier and thicker vinyl types. That's the main reason why I like Mattes and some other brands and types of HTV. However I would also prefer to buy precut htv packs for a number of reasons but mainly because they are cheaper or have better deals on a range of items and they don't have to be cut and have to deal with horrible curling. after being cut as the rolls require. Most of the time when I buy a htv reel it's just because it was a good deal or because I need a specific color and need a lot of it for a project. Otherwise, I stock up by buying packs and accumulating plenty of each color in pre-cut, low-maintenance materials over time. But it was a good deal and I needed some pink and green anyway so I bought it. The only thing I would like to say is that I didn't prefer this vinyl which isn't even a scam or reason enough to really mention it because I don't really care but felt it should be mentioned to others be warned that the color shown on photos is very different from the real product. The actual product will be slightly different from what you see in the photos, but the color isn't bad. It's not a bright, fun, fruity green, though, and the pink isn't that bright either. It's more the color of a true lime, so it's dull in comparison. The pink is more of a soft pink than what I would call a bright light pink. It's a bit dull, like the photos above have been enhanced or edited with a filter to make the photos brighter. Again, I don't really care and it's not worth the big stench. But for some people it can be confusing when a specific shade is needed and they got it based on the actual colors. Also keep in mind that this is not a full size roll which means it will not be 12x12 or 12x24 sheets depending on the size of the cutout required. These are 10 inch rolls. So if you cut 12" sheets, you end up with 15 sheets per roll, but 15 10" x 12" sheets of each color, which is not equal to 30 feet of material. It's actually just under 28 feet of vinyl, so hopefully your project won't require 12x12 or 12x24 sheets. Again I don't care. I prefer 10" x 12" as they are easier to store and fit most standard storage options. For some reason 12x12 sheets are harder to find for storage. Other than that, the rest seems to be pretty standard stuff. Nothing special but serves its purpose as expected. Pretty average stuff. Definitely worth the price for what you get. Hirali vinyl has always been pretty good, no complaints there.
