On the advice of my orthopedic surgeon, I was advised to investigate whether such a stabilizer would provide temporary relief from cubital tunnel syndrome while other options were being considered. If you suffer from a similar condition, remember that this article is not a substitute for the advice of a doctor. It is intended for short-term relief as it should only be considered as a home remedy. However, I noticed (as expected) very minimal relief from symptoms. Initially, the orthosis offered little comfort as it limited the use of the affected elbow. The product itself cannot be held responsible for not being able to cure any disease - again, it is intended for treatment only. The item itself has two strong metal plates sewn into its fabric cover that do a good job of restricting the movement of the hand it's on. The fabric is thin, however, and while foam surrounds the metal plates beneath the fabric cover, the foam lacks the density to provide a comfortable fit. This is especially noticeable after wearing this bandage for a few hours. The bandage is long enough to adequately cover the arm and limit mobility. If you're looking for short-term relief from cubital tunnel syndrome (or anything else that requires limited use of your arm/elbow), this may be a good solution while you're weighing other options. If your condition continues to worsen, be wise and seek medical advice.
