Review on Black & Decker WM225 and WM425 Leg Catch Replacement - Pack of 4 (Part No. 242416-00-4pk) by Jose Wititsuwannakul

I inherited one of the first generation partners and three leg locks were broken. I was happy to find them on Amazon at a reasonable price. After carefully comparing photos online to a good one I had, I couldn't tell any differences. I received it and was hoping there would be some simple instructions on how to remove the old one and install the new one. There was none. But the replacement turned out to be fairly easy, requiring the use of a punch (not a sharp center punch) and a hammer to knock out the mounting pins. I've found that coating the pins with soapy water makes them easier to knock out (cleaning helps when they're dirty), and coating the new parts makes it easier to install the pins too. As long as they work well. I would give this five stars if some of the installation instructions were included.
