I have thick, coarse hair so use the highest setting. There's also an auto-off feature, which is great for those who tend to leave their devices on (accidentally, of course). You no longer have to worry about starting a small fire by leaving the curlers connected. It uses ionic technology which makes hair a little shiny/shiny.
