The monitor is an IPS panel, so colors are rendered well right away. But if you play more with the settings or even with the calibration, this can be done much better. This was my first BenQ monitor as I only bought and used their mice. The only downside I noticed with this monitor was that the brightness drops drastically when you enable ELMB/Low Motion Blur instead of AMA mode. However, if you turn it off, you change the picture settings again when you turn it off. Plus, even in 2021, it's a near-perfect budget gaming monitor.
