THE FAN SPEED BUTTON DOES NOT WORK ON THE REMOTE CONTROL. 6000 BTU model.

I have a 6000 BTU model, THE FAN SPEED BUTTON DOES NOT WORK ON THE REMOTE. Good thing the control panel is white; not yellow. The problem now is to pack up this backup and send it back. Not cool. There is no quality control. Waste of time, money and materials to install, assuming it works as advertised. defective units.
