SEE UPDATE BELOW: So far it works because it came loose once. Like high quality workmanship and not cheap but a bit pricey in my opinion. Suction cups don't have a hold in many products, so let's see how they hold up. UPDATE: Now I'm giving one star not because I hate it but because the rubber grip is weak and doesn't work. From weeks to months I found it wasn't working. Too often, the suction power is weakened and the handle detaches from the surface of the ruler. It may hold initially, but after a few days it won't stay in place. My husband bought a similar one, but it's a completely different quality and durability (he uses it in the shower - he's older and it's comfortable). Appearance is basically the same style; The ribbed suction cups don't look cheap like on the Omingrid. He didn't come off once a month. The review asked for a comparison to the Gypsy Gripper and the reviewer was right and exactly what I experienced.
