I just opened this product and immediately noticed a quality control issue with Aida. There is loose thread in the middle and a thickness that makes it difficult to get even stitches. I've marked it with 2 stars because the drawing seems easy to understand. Unfortunately, I can't start until I've cut off a new piece of Aida. Update: I tried starting with her needle and thread. The thread is so thin it leaves big white slits in the fabric. So I not only had to provide Aida, but also a DMC thread. Then the needle had a flat back that hooked the thread. I had to give it up too. I downgraded my rating to one star. This is not a "kit" but a sample.
