Review on Trasharoo Spare Tire Trash BLACK by Motogp Portillo

Great Idea / Bad Execution - NO UV PROTECTION

I love this concept and it's an incredibly handy piece of equipment for our car. I really want to love this product, but there are a few things that make it unsustainable: 1. It's a nightmare to install or set up. You would think that they would make it as simple as a normal school backpack but only more powerful, but no, it will drive you crazy. You can't just pull the strap to tighten it and lift the buckle to loosen it like every other bag in bag history that uses plastic buckles. You'll struggle with this forever when you first install it, and with Trasharoo, there will be no instructions. If you have a swiveling tire holder it will make your life a little easier, but if you don't have one (like me) then it's a real problem. I'm pretty handy and fix most things myself and build a lot of stuff, but Trasharoo wasn't a picnic and I've heard similar things from all the other guys in my 4x4.2 group. It's not durable enough. If you just put this in your mall and ride it on tarmac, you'll probably be fine. But I have mine on a car that is only used off-road. After 15,000 miles in about 1.5 years the Trasharoo is riddled with punctures and wear from rubbing with the spare tire on the track, although I have it very tight and well protected from the spare. I even have an extra strap around the bottom of the hoop to keep it taut. It is also not UV protected and has clearly faded in the Arizona sun. had 21 months of exclusive weekend/adventure use with the car parked in the garage the rest of the time. The AZ sun destroyed the black fabric, turning it white as chalk and tearing at the slightest touch. Interestingly, the nylon webbing remains black and untouched. What is the essence of a bag designed to carry in your car? who goes into the street. in the sun that is not made of UV-resistant material? I know no fabric can stay in the sun forever but 21 months indoors is a disappointment most of the time. I've added an updated image.
