I've had them installed for about a week now. The bottom line is you'll have a hard time beating the performance for the price. Their Harley Boom version retails for $550 and runs up to 70 mph. These work pretty much the same. The noise is great up to about 55 km/h and then gets worse as the speed increases. It has nothing to do with the sound of your exhaust, it has to do with the air movement between you and the speakers. You'll hear them better if you have a windshield or fairing than if you don't. The dynamics are not to blame, only the physics. I bought the Satechi media button here at Revain for $30 and use it as a remote for them as they don't have their own controls other than the power button. I strongly encourage you to do the same. It makes the difference. The only real downside are the clamps you use to attach them to your handlebars or road bars. The quality of the yoke is good but they claim to fit up to a 1 1/4 inch shank which they will NEVER do. While the clamps are made for a 7/8" stem and may work on a 1" stem, the mounting holes just don't allow them to be mounted on a 1 1/4" stem in any way, which I do of course have.. on my bike.. I solved this problem by using a 1 1/4" hole saw with 80 grit sandpaper as the mandrel. I used this to increase the inner diameter of the clamps to the required size. It took about 5 minutes. The kit includes two sets of screws to attach the clamps, a shorter set of thumb screws for 7/8 bar and a longer hex head screw for a 1" bar. and 1 1/4" rods. Increasing the diameter of the clamps with my grinding tool has allowed me to use shorter knurled grips on the 1 1/4" rods, which is very convenient as they can now be adjusted on the fly without tools be able. Otherwise no problems so far. I would rate these speakers closer to 30 watts than 300 watts, but I wouldn't recommend them any less. They look good and sound damn good. The media key makes it even better. Keep your phone in your pocket and adjust volume, track, and play/pause without taking your hands off the control panel. They come with all the necessary cables, and the power cord is actually long enough to do anything. It has an SAE connector so it can be plugged directly into your car's charging cable. I think they will work great on both an ATV and a motorcycle. I run the Road King with a pretty loud exhaust noise and they do the trick. As you approach 65-70 mph the mid-range noises start to fade, but again this is due to the pounding of the air around you. You are excellent in the city. On the track they are very good. UPDATE 08/23/18. After our trip to Sturgis, serious problems started with them. Problems with the Bluetooth connection started, then one of the speakers started cracking constantly, after that only one speaker had sound. I figured I'd better take them off the bike and check the setup. After taking it off and placing it speaker side down on my desk, I found the real problem - water and more. Probably about half a glass spilled out of each speaker over the next hour. From the looks of it, the speakers aren't waterproof, and that's a real problem on the bike. I'm not sure I can do anything about it right now, but I can keep others warm. It's probably best to discard them until they fix this problem.
