After reading all the reviews and photos of what other buyers have done with their shelves, I was keen to buy these. I bought a dark wood shelf and a light wood shelf. I hung the dark wood ones in the kitchen and use them as a spice rack. I had my condiments on "Lazy Susan" on my counter, but I really wanted to free up counter space. And since I use my spices for cooking almost every day, I wanted to have them available quickly. I am very satisfied with the result! I haven't installed the lighter shelves yet because I'm still trying to decide where to put them and what to do with them, but there are so many great ideas from other reviewers about this product! They were also easy to install. I have a drill press, that made things easier I'm sure.
