Review on Kenmore 9990 Refrigerator Water Filter by Taurus Monsalve

I have ordered many of these replacement filters from Revain in the past but this is the first time we have had trouble getting them to work. I installed the filter as usual and ran a few liters of water through it. As soon as it cleared we started using water but it tasted awful! I spilled more liters of water. still had a horrible, chemical taste. Well we haven't been able to drink water from the fridge dispenser for months! I don't even want to use ice cubes! $$ in the wind. and we are tired of buying bottled water. I've re-read some of the reviews here on the web and it seems other people have had the same issue!
