I bought these to make my bed a little higher. At first I didn't think 3 inches would be enough, but to my surprise, they were. Also it was one of the few that came with 8 in the box instead of 2 different sizes as I really need 9 b/c for my mattress frame has 9 legs: 3 right, 3 left and 3 in the middle. My frame was low and I didn't realize it until I bought and built it. I didn't like it because I'm used to a high bed so I looked for furniture jacks. I've had them for about 2 months now and they work great! I haven't had any issues with holes or movement or anything. Also, my bed's apron is raised off the floor, which I also appreciate. Not too much where you can see the elevators but enough where it doesn't drag the floor so overall I would recommend the product I have a queen size bed" and that's just me in case you're wondering about wonder about the weight.
