Review on ☕️ Toddy Paper Bags Coffee Filters: Home Model - Naturally Superior Brewing by Marcus Reed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A little luxury for coffee filters

I wasn't sure if these bags were worth the money but I've since bought a second pack. They are not absolutely necessary for perfect cold brewing, but they make the simple process even easier and faster. The dripping time into the decanter is shorter than without a bag. Perhaps because the bases have no direct contact with the disk filter? I don't know why, but for some reason it's faster. I also get the same amount of coffee in the carafe as before. Some reviews claim there are fewer. I have never encountered this problem. After draining, pick up the bag and discard it. Rinse the filter and reservoir and you're ready to brew another round. The preparation is also faster. Simply mix the soil and water in the bag, stir gently (I prefer a rubber spatula) to ensure the soil is moist, twist the top of the bag and you're done. You don't have to wait 5 minutes between coats like you would with the traditional method. I didn't notice any difference in taste with these packs. The beer might be softer. Are these pouches needed for one portion of a delicious cold drink? nope But it's one of those little things in life that makes it better, and for that reason I'll be ordering a third one in due course.
