Review on Renewable Lubricants Bio Plus Injector Conditioner by Dre Fishburne

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best injector cleaner available and then some

I have used this in every fuel tank for my small engines (mowers, push mowers, 2 stroke weed eaters and blowers) and NEVER had anything to do with the fuel. Questions. I don't drain the tanks/lines/carburetors and after winter they start easily and the fuel never looks stale or smells. Lawn tractor with 14 hp single-cylinder Kohler engine. always charred the top of the piston and combustion chamber, causing terrible pre-ignition problems. Now that's not a problem since you use Bio Plus all the time. I've also used it in cars (Odyssey 2011) and SUVs (Tahoe 2007) and the slight increase in fuel economy (about 0.5mpg for me) is a direct offset to Bio Plus and I continue to start cleaning the fuel system. I've tried using it in every tank and usually use higher rates a few weeks before an oil change. Blow out all the dirt and throw it away. I use it in enough cars to buy a gallon jug - it's also more economical than smaller bottles. Real World - I recently purchased from a customer a 2001 Suburban, 1500, 4x4, 5.3 with 4.10 transmission and 165,000 miles. Gave injector error codes. I've used Royal Purple Injector Cleaner, two treatments over 4,000 miles with no change. For the last 6,000 miles I've used Bio-Plus at 2oz/15.6gal and then shocked 12oz/20gal on two oil changes and the codes stopped repeating. Since using Bio Plus Injector Cleaner at every fill-up, daily urban mileage has increased from 13.3 to 14.6 (10% increase) in the last 6 months (calculated per tank since ownership). I'm hoping for a further increase as I continue to use this in the suburbs.
