I started looking for ways to improve the quality of my two cats' health with a freeze dried diet with quality ingredients and I tried these (turkey and duck) as cats are allowed due urinary problems do not eat fish or seafood. I've used freeze-dried kibble three ways: (1) whole kibble, either dried or soaked in warm water, (2) dried, crumbled with your fingers and mixed into regular kibble, and (3) dried, crumbled, and then rehydrated into a paste form, like a wet pie. With all three methods, I had one cat who loved the food and a second cat (the picky one with the most urinary problems) who didn't. The cat who loved the food REALLY loved it - I put it on the kitchen counter and in the middle of the night the cat jumped in and chewed on the bag. Many times. I moved him, put him in another plastic bag, but he chewed everything to get those "treats". Yes, he's a pig, but it shows how some cats go crazy over it. However, there was no way another cat would eat it. I even tried mixing it with her regular wet food but she wasn't very interested. Yes I think this is a quality product and yes I think I will buy it again. But cats are finicky and not all cats will eat and benefit from this food.
