Alone, late at night, after a long day, tired, armed only with a Phillips screwdriver, I was able to assemble this shelf in about 20 minutes. I am so pleased with the wayfair seller's shipping and handling and this product that I had to leave reviews before I could sleep. Like the seller, I would like to give Sauder 6 stars for going the extra mile and ensuring quality throughout. Nails are better than the average shield, providing the ultimate amplification of these shelves' strength. No scratches, dents, warps or anything wrong with this product or its original packaging. With two easily adjustable shelves evenly spaced, you get three 10" tall shelves (nearly 10.5 to be exact) plus the top. I filled it with books on computer graphics and application development and placed my decent boom box on top. it even seems that its upper part is generally heavy, so the ideal depth. It's a real dark wood finish, so it goes perfectly with the walnut walls and the brown and black furniture it's set against.
