Instructions do not appear to be the same as for the kit I received. The instructions showed parts and illustrations on several boards for different parts than what I received. The cable clamp did not fit. A 10 minute job turned into 30 minutes due to poor instructions. The cylinder only begins to dampen the fall of the tailgate when it is more than half open. Works so far, but I still have my hand on the tailgate when I open it because it falls freely the first time I open it (and I don't trust the cylinder yet).
