Great article. . . - Children's bedding

Bought this net item for a trip to Africa. Although we stayed in "high class" cabins, the staff came to change towels, sheets, etc. . They will allow the bugs to get inside. These bugs wait until sunset. The bedrooms had sealed windows as well as "curtains" with insect screens around the bed, but I needed an extra layer for peace of mind. Saw them on a trip to Mexico (where there aren't just flying insects, but insects that approach through the floor, ceiling and bed... no matter how many stars a hotel name might have). My daughter gets horrible scars after just 1 bite. Tests showed she had no allergies, but the bite site was very red and swollen. I like to sleep soundly. . . So . . . I can't do this if I'm afraid of making mistakes when traveling internationally. So... . researched for months. . . I almost pulled the trigger on a size 1 sleeping bag. . . but it had a hard plastic bottom to retain heat. Finally saw this one. I believe Revane only dealt with these suppliers because I had never seen them before. For the price (and free shipping) I gave it a try. A few things: 1. The holes in the mesh are very small. Nothing worked. After a long research. . . determined that this screen has approximately 32 holes per square centimeter. If you do the math. . . 7 cm² = 1.09 in². That means you have about 224 holes per sq. Most screens have 225 holes per sq. I've seen some that are 285 in².2 high. Appears immediately.3. Fits in a zip pocket and is nice and flat. When putting an item back into your bag, be VERY careful not to snag the mesh on the back of the zipper.4. Although it comes with instructions in the form of a re-folding and stacking chart. . . watch the video Search for "Portable Foldable Freestanding Net Bed Video". There are several on You Tube. DO NOT attempt to fold it without watching this video. One of them: http://nortonsafe.search.ask.com/search?chn=1000&ctype=videos&doi=2016-10-13&geo=US&guid=4C2D23DE-1EAD-4C51-A6DF-1685FD07F62C&locale=en_US&o=APN11918&p2=%5EEQ%5Efd20us % 5E&page=1&prt=NSBU&q=portable+foldable+freestanding+bed+net+video&tpr=10&ver=225. 1.5 and 1.8 add up differently than 1.0 and 1.2. Pay attention to this, otherwise you may damage the goods.6. Folding is easy. . . got it in 5 minutes. Practice folding before your trip so you don't get frustrated. For us, the dimensions of these items when folded were important. . . especially for a trip to Africa. Although this article is very light, the dimensions given deviate slightly. Attached is a photo of 2 of them. . . the more 1.5. The less 1.2. You can clearly see that the 1.5 is 23.75" wide when boxed and the 1.2 is 20.5" wide when boxed. We took 3 out of 1.2 to Africa due to the size of our suitcase. (For some reason my photo is posted on the page even though it loads vertically).8. This item is on the bed. You must put sheets and a blanket in this item. (Ideally they make one with the edges folded like a sheet... so it "fits" over the top of the mattress, but no one has thought of that.) I bring a very light sheet. And open above the bottom screening of this article. And then import other sheets, duvets and pillows into it. I'm 6 feet tall with at least 2 inches below my feet while lying in this object with my head on the pillow. 9. Something else I do to hold this item in place (although I've had no problem with it "falling" out of bed). I use mattress clips. . . and clip one of these to each corner (with the cloth under the clip so it doesn't rip the screen) and then clip the other end to the underside of the mattress at each corner. You need very little effort to use it. But I can only assume that you are using this article because you are internationally in a location that may be unsafe regarding insects such as malaria, dengue fever in Africa. Zika in Mexico etc. The extra effort is worth it (in my opinion), especially since the part is incredibly light, cheap and easy to fold. The only other alternative was to apply 30-40% Det before bed. . . . and hope that somehow the malaria mosquito hasn't found a place that we may have overlooked. We were covered in death every day. . . I didn't want to sleep in it either. Remember: malaria is transmitted by the female Anopheles mosquito, which bites a person from dusk to dawn, that is, only at night. The Anopheles mosquito is SILENT. They don't hum so you CANNOT hear them. That means when you're sleeping, you're the target. Mosquito nets also offer protection against other diseases such as filariasis (known for massive swelling of the extremities) and other insects and arachnids such as mites, beetles, flies and spiders. Keep in mind that in malaria-prone areas, bedrooms without tight-fitting or broken screens require insecticide-treated mosquito nets, except in buildings with sealed windows and central air-conditioning. Also in these rooms with standard precautions. . . There are no guarantees unless you are extremely careful.
