If you rarely have to change the clock while you work, these things pay for themselves quickly. With the increase in efficiency, one wonders why these bit holders are not an industry standard. Meanwhile, the DeWalt-specific design isn't perfect (the Makita equivalent is much better designed). Steel clamps remain VERY stiff even after years of use, making it sometimes difficult to insert a bit into the holder with one hand. Once the free end of the bit gets stuck in the holder, it can be easily pulled out. In a busy workplace, this can easily go unnoticed, leaving you bladeless at a critical moment. In comparison, the Makita version stores TWO bits in each holder and is much easier to load AND less likely to accidentally loosen a bit. Regardless, if you have DeWalt tools, buy them. Do not even think about it.
