We all know it - buying a new printer at a great discount only to find out when the toner cartridge that came with it is empty. It's almost cheaper to get a new one printer to buy as a new cartridge. I argued with myself about the risk of using third-party toner cartridges in an HP printer, but in the end my New England frugality won out and I took the risk. I'm very glad I did. They work great for only a fraction of the price. I can't tell any difference in print quality, and the first of the two cartridges that came with it still works, so durability is a no-brainer. No toner spills in my printer, no smudges on the paper, nothing to worry about. I recommend with all my heart!
