I received this belt a few days ago as I didn't like the look of my old belts with odd shaped holes and material that had been scratched so badly that it became two tone. I needed a clean aesthetic that I could use anytime, so I settled on ratchet straps. This belt feels great when you take it out of the box. I have yet to cut it to the right length, but considering it's a design option, I can actually get the perfect look of the belt with the functionality enabled. Ratchets work well, if you pull hard enough the belt will loosen, which is a minor downside but generally not a problem unless you're trying to make your waist 6 inches smaller than it actually is. a friendly strap was important to me, it was quite difficult to find such options with a ratchet strap. Also, I'm glad this belt is exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this belt to anyone looking for a belt that adjusts to the right length and can be worn formal or informal. Great product, can't wait to use more!
