Review on Dell U4320Q UltraSharp Business Warranty: πŸ’» Flicker-Free, LED, LCD, HD, IPS 4K Monitor by Darrell Chavez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good monitor in my review

I am happy with this monitor and can say it deserves all 4 stars but definitely not a 5 star product. Being able to see the edges isn't as bad as I expected after reading other reviews, although it probably helps that my desktop is 30 inches deep, allowing me to place it a bit further than some might be able to. There's a tiny bit of light around the edges, but I don't really notice it when looking. The biggest annoyance I have, even with my older U3014 monitors, is that it can't keep up with scrolling text. , which causes text to become discolored as it scrolls. Other Dell monitors I've never had this problem, even with the same graphics card. It also appears that there is some sort of film on the front of the display, giving it an almost paper-like texture. My old U3014s don't have it, but it doesn't really bother me - it's just different. My main day-to-day use is AutoCAD and it's great for that purpose, but I've also found that Photoshop really benefits from full-screen space. The pixel resolution is a good match for 30-inch 2560 x 1600 displays, but if you're already used to dual-resolution/retina displays, you'll likely be disappointed with the resolution. As much as I wish I had that 43-inch display. screen in the 8k version I still wouldn't be able to afford it. That's a good compromise. BTW, when I first plugged it in, Windows defaulted the zoom to 300%, which made everything ridiculously large. If you're sitting directly in front of this monitor, you should bring it back to the usual 100% in the Windows settings. I understand why Dell doesn't advertise this monitor with speakers. They're pretty loud, but the quality is *super* terrible. The sound is tinny, muddy and literally less clear than my smartphone speaker (Galaxy S9), even at very low volume. With a much larger form factor, there's really no excuse here. I was hoping to replace my cheap 25 year old desktop speakers to reduce the clutter on my desktop, but it just wasn't possible for me. Overall, the monitor's design is clean, the bezels are thin, and the stand feels very solid. I definitely don't regret this purchase, but it would take a better screen and acceptable sound quality to give it five stars.
