My cats LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEEEEE their sunny spots! I was nervous when some reviews mentioned cats getting tangled in the flimsy cords they hold. But another reviewer suggested covering it with clear plastic tubing, which I did. Cutting the tubing is pretty tricky (you can buy it at Home Depot or any plumbing store). It really doesn't make much of a difference in appearance and I've never worried about my kittens getting wrapped in it. In fact, they don't even pay attention to them. But they lay in their places all day! I have two of these and when I'm home they sit in every room I'm in. Make sure you choose a window that receives sunlight. They love it!
