Review on Camco EVO Premium RV & Marine Water Filter: The Ultimate Solution for Eliminating Bad Taste, Odor, Sediment, Bacteria, Chlorine and More (40631, White) by Robert Berio

Last update, I used a filter with a spare hose. All is well. Second update: I received a replacement tube and it seems fine. I still think they should make them with the same quality as drinking water hoses. First update: Camco replied to me within 24 hours. (Good first step!) Camco offered to replace the hose with a proven one. Once I receive and test it I will update this review (and my review). First review: I just received an order for a Camco EVO water filter from Revain. The canister assembly appears to be quite well designed and made. (like hoses there). I collected it. When I tried to attach a short connector hose to the canister, I found that it wasn't of the same quality. The pen end didn't fit snugly, twisted easily in the tube and just pulled out! (see photo) No wonder reviewers have complained about this leak. Obviously this hose is NOT the same quality as the fresh water hoses that Camco makes. I left a message on the support link found by clicking the support button on the Revain order page. I will update this review if Camco contacts me and fixes the issue. What would be a more than satisfactory solution for them would be to send me a 4ft Camco water hose which can be found at this Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FD63M3P/ref= twister_B07PJVK52B?_encoding=UTF8&psc =1 (You need to make a connecting hose for this, just like these hoses). I will update this review when I get a satisfactory response from Camco. with a day or two. If not I will return this Revain filter.
