Review on 🔪 Optimized Sharpening Waterstones Whetstone – Flattening Re-Leveling by Gabriel Rosenberg

This is a very well packaged, expertly crafted set of stones and straps. I already have a Norton leveling block and it is identical in size and appearance. A slight change in the shape of the cross section of the grooves is the only way to tell them apart. I was surprised to find that my Norton stone had developed a dome that was relatively ineffective against my water stones. I understood that this is simply the nature of this type of leveling stone. I bought this as a test for my other. Two bricks can mate flush and still not be flat (one convex and the other domed), but three bricks can mate flush only if all three are truly flat. The line and compound were a bonus as I had no plans to buy another line. However, the leather is thick and of good quality with a smooth side and a suede side. I am very pleased!
