I ended up buying this lamp because before that I had an expensive glass lamp that my cats broke. So the price was the main reason I chose it, just in case they break this one too! The delivery was fast and the packaging was perfect, nothing wrong at first. Until I got to the point where I had to unscrew it, put the lampshade on and then screw it back on. I don't know what happened to the lamp I received but it would not screw back onto the lampshade. So I hit the metal part of the lampshade with a hammer to make it thinner and that seems to have helped. If I had spent more money I would have been more annoyed that I would have to fix it myself. Shouldn't have come back for a new one. The included lamp is quite bright, so overall a good lamp!
