Do you have CEL and EVAP errors? Start here first. This gas cap and code reader saved me hundreds of dollars. If your code reader is showing EVAP system errors, it makes sense to first try replacing the gas cap and turning off the CEL light to see if the old cap is bad. My cap didn't look bad, but that's how it was. This new cap fit perfectly and solved my problems.
